We’re Ernest and Annette Campbell, and we created The Wick Studio as a warm, imaginative place for people to connect. Our 1,500-square-foot studio invites you to slow down, explore fragrance, and make something personal.

We want your visit to feel effortless from the moment you arrive.
01How much is each candle-making experience?+
Each session is $40 per person, plus tax. Please contact us for private event pricing.
02What is a candle-making experience?+
A candle-making experience is a hands-on session where you create a custom candle from start to finish. You will choose scents, a container, and decor while crafting your candle with guidance from our team. These sessions are recreational experiences and are not educational programs for aspiring candle makers.
03How long does the session last?+
The candle-making session lasts approximately two hours. The process takes about one hour, followed by additional time for the candle to cool. During that time, you will receive candle-care instructions and can enjoy trivia, board games, mingling, or nearby eateries.
04What materials are provided?+
Your $40 session includes all necessary materials, including wax, wicks, a container, fragrance oils, dyes, and candle-making tools.
05Can I take my candle home right after the session?+
Candles take at least 45 minutes to cool and set. You can wait for your candle or return within two weeks to pick it up.
06What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?+
We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations. If you miss a session without prior notice, your reservation and fee will be forfeited. Cancellations made within 48 hours qualify for a one-time reschedule, with the credit valid for up to three months.
07Can I refill a candle from a past visit?+
Yes. We encourage guests to recycle vessels from previous sessions. Bring your vessel back and receive 15% off your next session.
08Is it safe for children to participate?+
Guests age 12 and older are welcome when a parent is present. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the participation waiver.
09Can I host a private candle-making event?+
Absolutely. Private sessions are available for birthdays, corporate gatherings, team-building activities, and other celebrations. Contact us for private booking details.
010Can I bring my own food and drinks?+
Guests are welcome to BYOB for public and private events. Food is not permitted during public sessions.
011Is there parking?+
On-street metered parking and the NJ Transit parking lot are available. Both are free after 6pm on weekdays and free all day on weekends.
